A super simple way to turn sweet potatoes or white potatoes into baked fries. Have them with dinner or make them part of your next picnic lunch.
Ingredients:
- 4 medium sweet potatoes or white potatoes, peeled and sliced into long strips, about 1/2-inch wide
- 1/4 cup grape seed oil
- 1/2 cup Italian parsley, stems removed and finely chopped
- 1/2 teaspoon dry Simply Organic Italian Seasoning or other brand
- 1 teaspoons Spice Lab Himalayan salt or other brand, finely ground
- 1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper
Directions:
- Place all the ingredients, except for the potatoes, into a large size bowl and mix until well combined.
- Add the sweet potatoes and gently toss to coat.
- Transfer to a non-stick baking sheet and arrange in one even layer. Use two baking sheets if necessary.
- Place in a preheated 400˚F oven for 25 minutes or until cooked fully through; when a fork enters easily. Serve immediately, or make them part of a picnic lunch. Just prepare or reheat the fries close to the time of packing as possible, wrap in tin foil, pack in a Picnic Time Montero Insulated Tote or other large cooler bag, then toss in a heated Pyrex Portable Hot and Cold Pack Combo and you’re ready to go!
