Summer time is a good time for ice pops because they’re cool and refreshing. What’s even better is that this recipe uses the right combination of fruits for sweetness — without the need for refined sugar. But if you like super sweet pops, the Mango Fruit Smoothie recipe that is required to make these pops includes a variation for adding your choice of agave, dates, or stevia.
Ingredients:
- 1 cup Mango Fruit Smoothie recipe
- 3 tablespoons freshly squeezed lime juice
Directions:
- Blend all the ingredients in a high powered blender on low speed then high for 1 minute or until fully blended and smooth.
- Pour equal amounts of the mixture into 6 Leminarc Shot Glasses or other tall shot glasses, then put in each a Progressive International Pop Stick or other wooden freezer popsicle stick. Place in the freezer for 6 hours or until fully frozen. Remove from freezer and let sit for 2 minutes or until you can easily twist and pull on the sticks to remove the pops. Serve immediately, and enjoy!
Yield:
Makes 6 servings.
