This is not your average fruit flavored cereal in a box. It’s raw oatmeal with real fruit, for a sweet and satisfying breakfast.
Ingredients:
- 1 cup Bob’s Red Mill gluten-free rolled oats, or other certified gluten-free brand*
- 1 cup or more filtered water
- 1/2 banana, sliced
- 1/4 cup strawberries, halved
- 1/4 cup blue berries
- 1/2 cup raw almond milk
- 1/2 teaspoon Madhava raw organic agave nectar (optional)
Directions:
- Soak the oats in filtered water overnight in an airtight container. Drain, then transfer the oats to a serving bowl.
- Add the banana, berries, and almond milk. If you want it sweeter drizzle with agave. Serve, and enjoy!
Variations:
- Try some other fruit combinations. Apple, kiwi fruit, and banana, for example.
- Toss in some sunflower seeds or chopped nuts if you like.
- Add a light sprinkling of ground flax seed.

* Technically, rolled oats are not considered to be raw because they are heated when processed. For a truly raw recipe, replace rolled oats with raw gluten-free oat groats.
