“For the revelation awaits an appointed time; it speaks of the end and will not prove false. Though it linger, wait for it; it will certainly come and will not delay.” – Habakkuk 2:3. The Lord promises and we struggle to see the fulfillment. The problem is not a lack of trust but our inability to hang out with the Eternal consistently. We have moments where we get it. God is eternal and the end of a matter to Him is as the beginning. He speaks and it will happen. But we live in time with a sure hope for eternity. We hear Him speak and when something lingers we see it as a ‘delay.’ How can something linger and not delay? Because when God speaks it is a done. He shapes events and works life out like a tapestry weaving one thread in at a time. Has He promised you something? Wait for it! It will come and when it does, you will see that it was just on time.
