These cool and creamy chocolate flavored pops can be served as a simple dessert or snack on a hot summer day, straight out of the freezer.
Ingredients:
- 1 (13.66oz) can Thai Kitchen Coconut Milk or other brand, unsweetened.
- 1/2 cup cacao powder
- 1/4 cup pure maple syrup
Directions:
- Blend all the ingredients in a high powered blender on low speed then high for 1 minute or until fully blended and smooth.
- Pour equal amounts of the mixture into 12 tall shot glasses, then put in each a food grade pop stick*. Place in the freezer for 6 hours or until fully frozen. Remove from freezer and let sit for 2 minutes or until you can easily twist and pull on the sticks to remove the pops. Serve immediately, and enjoy!
Yield:
Makes 6 servings.
*If the sticks fall to the side when inserted into the glass, you can center them using tinfoil. To do so, use scissors to cut tinfoil into 2-inch squares. Place one square over each glass and fold the edges around the sides to form fitted covers. Use a small knife with a pointed tip to poke a small whole in the center of each cover. Insert the sticks before freezing. Remove tinfoil before serving.
